*Note that Dave’s view on the “brain” and the portion of the presentation where he shares his opinions of the “unconscious mind”, etc… are just that… Dave’s opinions. I happen to know that we are spiritual beings and that the brain serves a neural purpose, but that purpose is not that of “thinking”. But the overall point he is making is valid. Personally, I would state it as, “You get exactly what you decide to get.”, or something along those lines. We have a difference in philosophy in this area. I note this here only because I feel that it is degrading and evaluative to tell people that their thoughts are a result of their bodies, or a part of their body. This is not an evaluation of Dave. He has had his path of experience just as anyone else has. This business about thinking with the brain is a new concept, invented by Psychiatrists, solely for the purpose of inhumanity and monetary gain. Unfortunately this concept has proliferated for reason better know to someone else. This is neither here nor there in terms of your business, but in light of the fact that Dave covers this here, I had to clarify my own observations on the matter. I would however agree with the concept of you being the cause of your own thoughts, results, viewpoints, decisions, etc… which is really the point being made. : )
